Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on October 6, 2022, the committee resumed its study of Arctic security.

Kevin Hamilton made a statement and, with Heidi Kutz and Stephen Randall, answered questions.

Motion

James Bezan moved, — That the committee invite the Auditor General to appear to discuss the 6th Report of the Auditor General, Arctic Waters Surveillance.

At 12:05 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:08 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.

Clint Davis and Les Klapatiuk made statements and answered questions.

The committee resumed consideration of the motion of James Bezan, — That the committee invite the Auditor General to appear to discuss the 6th Report of the Auditor General, Arctic Waters Surveillance.

The debate continued.

It was agreed, — That the committee invite the Auditor General to appear to discuss the 6th Report of the Auditor General, Arctic Waters Surveillance.

The committee resumed consideration of the motion of James Bezan, — That in our current study of reports that former Royal Canadian Air Force pilots have undertaken employment to train members of the People's Liberation Army Air Force, the committee invite CanLink Aviation, who operate Moncton Flight College, and other flight schools in Canada who may be training pilots from the People's Liberation Army to appear.

The debate continued.
