Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, April 29, 2022, the committee resumed its study of Arctic sovereignty, security and emergency preparedness of Indigenous Peoples.

Meeka Atagootak, Merrill Harris and Kurt Eby made statements and answered questions.

At 11:57 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:03 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Dwayne Thomas, Sarah Sunday-Diabo and Lucas King made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That 20 minutes of the meeting on October 6, 2022 be reserved for drafting instructions for a report.

It was agreed, — That the clerk circulate the amended study motion from the meeting on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

At 1:07 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
