The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study on the Canada-United States relationship and the impacts it will have on the electric vehicle industry, the softwood lumber industry and other areas; that the committee hold a minimum of two meetings for each area; and that the committee report its findings to the House.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study of Canadian exportation of green, clean and low-carbon technologies, and that the evidence and documentation received by the committee during the 2nd Session of the 43rd Parliament on the subject be taken into consideration by the committee in the current session; that the committee proceed to give drafting instructions for a report based on the evidence acquired in the previous session; that the committee present its report in the House; and that pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request a government response.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study on the launch of the modernization of the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement; that the study consist of at least three meetings; and that the committee report its findings to the House.

At 4:51 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
