Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 29, 2020, the committee commenced its study of the targeted infrastructure investment.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Xavier Barsalou-Duval moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee undertake a study of one meeting on the issues arising from aeronautical circular AC 700-048 on the use of Twin Otter-type aircraft on short runways; that the Committee invite witnesses including Transport Canada, the Canadian Federation of Outfitter Associations and Air Inuit to appear at this meeting; and that this meeting be held no later than April 30.

Amendment

Andy Fillmore moved, — That the motion be amended by replacing the words “no later than April 30” with the words “as soon as possible taking into consideration other committee business” and by adding after the words “Outfitter Associations” the following: “, Viking Air”.

The question was put on the amendment of Andy Fillmore and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:

The question was put on the motion, as amended, and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:

The motion, as amended, read as follows:
