Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 8, 2020, the committee commenced its study of Parole Board of Canada and the circumstances that led to a young woman's death.

Anne Kelly and Jennifer Oades made statements and answered questions.

At 5:15 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:17 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Pam Damoff moved, — That the committee commence work on a draft report on the study on the Parole Board of Canada and the circumstances that led to a young woman’s death.

By unanimous consent, the motion was withdrawn.

On motion of Joël Lightbound, it was agreed, — That the committee do now adjourn.

At 5:42 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
