Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 8, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Scott Jones, Sony Perron and Marc Brouillard made statements and answered questions.

At 4:51 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:57 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of its study of the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee invite the Auditor General and representatives of Public Services and Procurement Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada to appear on Monday, June 7, 2021, in order to discuss the Auditor General’s report entitled “Report 10—Securing Personal Protective Equipment and Medical Devices”.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of its study of the Public Sector Pension Investment Board’s ownership of Revera Inc., the draft workplan, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the Chair continue to set the committee’s calendar.

At 5:32 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
