The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the workplan for the study of the federal support for French or bilingual post-secondary institutions in a minority situation, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion on questioning of witnesses adopted on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, for the meetings in relation to the study of the federal support for French or bilingual post-secondary institutions in a minority situation, witnesses be given five minutes for their opening remarks.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 22, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the government’s ability to deliver information in both official languages.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 5:36 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
