The subcommittee resumed consideration of the draft news release.
It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the news release.
It was agreed, — That the news release be translated into Uyghur and Mandarin.
It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee hold a press conference in relation to the study of the human rights situation of the Uyghurs on August 27, 2020, and that the Chair and one representative from each party be in attendance.
It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee issue an informational tweet when the news release is published.
At 5:46 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
