Pursuant to the order of reference of Saturday, April 11, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The President of the Treasury Board made a statement and, with Kathleen Owens, Nancy Chahwan and Francis Bilodeau, answered questions.

At 11:58 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:03 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Eddy Bourque, Chris Aylward, Sharleen Stewart and Marc Brière made statements and answered questions.

It was moved: — That, in the context of its study of the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the witnesses to be invited for the two meetings of the committee following Friday, May 15, 2020 be those identified on meetings number eight and nine, respectively, on the draft workplan dated Friday, May 8, 2020.

The question was put and was agreed to on the following recorded division:
