Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Thursday, February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed its study of the current human rights situation of the Rohingya in Myanmar.

Shwe Maung, by videoconference from Manvel, Texas, Zainab Arkani, Raïss Tinmaung, Slone Phan and Yasmin Ullah made statements and answered questions.

At 2:00 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
