Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of strategic electricity inter-ties.

François Vitez, by videoconference from Montreal, Quebec, and Benoit Marcoux, made statements and answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 4:34 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:39 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study on secondary supply chain products in the forestry sector in Canada, the following organizations be invited to appear on a priority basis: Forest Products Association of Canada, Association of Lumber Remanufacturers, J.D. Irving Limited, Chantiers Chibougameau, First Nations Forestry Council, Michael Green Architecture and Structurlam.

It was agreed, — That the parties prioritize their lists of suggested witnesses for the study on secondary supply chain products in the forestry sector in Canada in preparation for the meeting on Monday, October 30, 2017.

At 4:53 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
