Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee resumed consideration of Report 5, Preparing Women Offenders for Release—Correctional Service Canada, of the Fall 2017 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Report 5, Preparing Women Offenders for Release—Correctional Service Canada, of the 2017 Fall Reports of the Auditor General of Canada".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the 2018 Westminster Workshop and Second Conference of the Commonwealth Association of Public Accounts Committees, the proposed budget in the amount of $33,724.69, for the Committee’s travel to London in the Fall or Winter of 2018, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the Annual Conference of the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees (CCPAC) and Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors (CCOLA) Annual Conference, the proposed budget in the amount of $ 25,564.00, for the Committee’s travel to Charlottetown, PE, in the Fall of 2018, be adopted.

At 4:26 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
