The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Ninth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in as amended:

  1. That the Committee study Bill C-24, An Act to amend the Salaries Act and to make a consequential amendment to the Financial Administration Act; that members submit electronically their lists of witnesses to the Clerk of the Committee no later than 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017; and that the Hon. Bardish Chagger, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, and officials from the Privy Council Office, be invited to appear on or before Thursday, October 5, 2017.
  2. That the Committee resume its study of Changes to the Government of Canada’s Communications Policy Pertaining to Government Advertising; and that members submit electronically their lists of witnesses to the Clerk of the Committee no later than 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
  3. That the Committee invite the Hon. Scott Brison, President of the Treasury Board, to appear in relation to Canadian Digital Service at a meeting to occur on or between Tuesday, October 17 and Thursday, November 9, 2017.
  4. That the Committee commence its study of the Federal Government Procurement Process on Tuesday, October 31, 2017; and that the study focus on procurement related to infrastructure.

At 11:39 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
