Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of the modernization of the Official Languages Act.

Éric Forgues, by videoconference from Moncton, New Brunswick, and Hoi Kong, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, made statements and answered questions.

At 12:06 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:13 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Meri Huws, by videoconference from Cardiff, United Kingdom, made a statement and answered questions.

At 1:03 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
