Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the Clerk of the Committee proceeded to the election of a Vice-Chair.

On motion of Rob Nicholson, it was agreed, — That Murray Rankin be elected Second Vice-Chair of the Committee.

At 3:33 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:33 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of human trafficking in Canada, members of the Committee send a list of suggested witnesses including their contact information to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Thursday, February 8, 2018.

It was agreed, — That the study of human trafficking in Canada be promoted on the Committee’s website and on social media.

At 3:48 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
