It was agreed, — That the Committee not sit on Monday, October 22, 2018.
It was agreed, — That, regarding the study on Bill C-78, An Act to amend the Divorce Act, the Family Orders and Agreements Enforcement Assistance Act and the Garnishment, Attachment and Pension Diversion Act and to make consequential amendments to another Act : (a) the parties submit their lists of suggested witnesses to the Clerk electronically, no later than Friday, October 26, 2018; (b) the Committee consider these lists during its meeting of Monday, October 29, 2018; (c) the Committee devote at least four meetings to hear from witnesses on this matter, on Monday, November 5, Wednesday, November 7, Monday, November 19, and Wednesday, November 21, 2018; (d) briefs be accepted until Friday, November 16, 2018; and (e) the study be promoted on the Committee’s website and on social media.
It was agreed, — That the clause-by-clause study of Bill C-75, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and other Acts and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, begin at the meeting of Wednesday, October 24, 2018, provided that it is a four-hour meeting.
At 3:40 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
