The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion adopted on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Clerk be authorized to distribute Committee documents to the Member of Parliament John Oliver.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, the Committee resumed its study of the impacts of Canada's regulatory structure on small business.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Impacts of Canada's Regulatory Structure on Small Business: between protection and competition".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, be authorized to finalize the pull quotes, the conclusion, and the summary of the report.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee's web site and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, December 13, 2017, and section 92 of the Copyright Act, the Committee resumed the statutory review of the Act.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 10:06 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
