Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, October 5, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of fire safety and emergency management in Indigenous communities.

Ava Hill, by videoconference from Ohsweken, Ontario, Laurence Pearce, by videoconference from North Vancouver, British Columbia and Allan Peters made statements and, with Matt Miller, answered questions.

At 4:50 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:53 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Franklin Condo, by teleconference from Gesgapegiag, Quebec, Timothy Saganash Stringer and Matilda Ramjattan made statements and answered questions.

At 5:37 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
