Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, May 4, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of advancing inclusion and quality of life for Canadian seniors.

Alison Phinney, by videoconference from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Pat Armstrong, Raza M. Mirza, Danis Prud'homme and Dr. Margaret M. Cottle, by teleconference from Vancouver, British Columbia made statements and answered questions.

At 5:08 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:10 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, subject to a bill on the topic of accessibility being referred to the committee, travel to various Canadian cities be requested for the month of March 2018.

At 5:23 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
