Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of violence faced by health care workers in hospitals, long-term care facilities and in home care settings.

Josette Roussel and Kulvinder Gill made statements.

At 4:07 p.m., Bill Casey took the Chair.

Thomas Hayes, Linda Lapointe, by videoconference from Québec, Quebec, and Laurier Ouellet, by videoconference from Québec, Quebec, made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 5:25 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:27 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $11,050, for the study of the level of fitness and physical activity of youth in Canada, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the work plan prepared by the analysts for the study of forced sterilization of women in Canada be adopted.

At 5:29 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
