Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, April 16, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of LGBTQ2 health in Canada.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 5:10 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:15 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $21,350, for the study of the violence faced by health care workers in hospitals, long-term care facilities and in home care settings, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, February 27, 2019, the Committee undertake a study on the level of fitness and physical activity of youth in Canada; that this study be comprised of two meetings, to be held outside the Committee’s usual timeslot during the week of May 27, 2019, and in addition to the two meetings already scheduled in the Committee’s timeslot that week; that the exact date and time of the two meetings be set by the Chair, in consultation with the Vice-Chairs; that, notwithstanding the number of Members present, the provisions for reduced quorum when receiving evidence shall apply at the two meetings on this study; that members of the Committee submit their prioritized lists of witnesses to the Clerk no later than Friday, May 10, 2019, at 5:00 p.m.; and that the Committee report its findings to the House.

At 5:24 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
