Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee commenced consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (C) 2015-16 : Votes 1c, 5c and 10c under Fisheries and Oceans referred to the Committee on Friday, February 19, 2016.

The Chair called Vote1c under Fisheries and Oceans.

Marty Muldoon made a statement and, with Kevin Stringer, Jeffery Hutchinson and Trevor Swerdfager, answered questions.

It was agreed on division, — Vote 1c under Fisheries and Oceans carried.

It was agreed, — That the Committee invite the Minister to discuss the Main Estimates on April 19, 2016.

The Chair called Vote 5c under Fisheries and Oceans.

It was agreed on division, — Vote 5c under Fisheries and Oceans carried.

The Chair called Vote 10c under Fisheries and Oceans.

It was agreed on division, — Vote 10c under Fisheries and Oceans carried.

ORDERED, — That the Chair report Votes 1c, 5c, and 10c under Fisheries and Oceans to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

On motion of Mark Strahl, it was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 10,900, for the study of The Imminent Closure of MCTS Comox, be adopted.

At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
