The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed supplementary budget in the amount of $20,850, for the study of the Pre-Budget Consultations in Advance of the 2019 Budget, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the Pre-Budget Consultations in Advance of the 2019 Budget, dissenting and supplementary opinions be in Arial 12-point font, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than midnight on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations in advance of the 2019 budget.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 10:42, by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, considering the statement in the Ministers’ mandate letters from the Prime Minister that Ministers be held accountable to parliamentary committees, the Committee request that the Minister of National Revenue and officials from the Canada Revenue Agency appear before the Committee for a briefing on the Tuesday, November 20, 2018, report published by the Auditor General of Canada on the Compliance Activities of the Canada Revenue Agency; that in their briefing the Minister and officials explain to the Committee steps being taken to address concerns highlighted in the Auditor General’s report; that this meeting be televised.

At 11:04 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
