Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, the Committee commenced its study of Indigenous women in the federal justice and correctional systems.

Anne Kelly, Suzanne Brisebois and Angela Connidis made statements and, with Michelle Van De Bogart, answered questions.

At 12:12 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:16 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 12:16 p.m., Karen Vecchio took the Chair.

At 12:17 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
