Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the United States and Canadian foreign policy.

Laura Dawson, by videoconference from Washington, D.C., and Christopher Sands by videoconference from Washington, D.C., made statements and answered questions.

At 9:50 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:53 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Bessma Momani, by videoconference from Waterloo, Ontario, and Paul Heinbecker made statements and answered questions.

At 10:24 a.m. , Dean Allison took the Chair.

At 10:27 a.m., Robert D. Nault took the Chair.

At 10:47 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
