Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the United States and Canadian foreign policy.

David Morrison made a statement and, with Heidi Hulan and Martin Moen, answered questions.

At 9:47 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:53 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Warren Everson made a statement and answered questions.

At 10:38 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:39 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Twelveth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in :

Your Subcommittee met on Monday, April 10, 2017, to consider the business of the Committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

1. That the travel proposal to Mexico City, Mexico, Washington, D.C., New York City, N.Y. and Detroit, MI, be submitted to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee before Thursday, May, 4th, 2017.

2. That the travel proposal to China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Nepal, be submitted to the Subcommittee on Commitee Budgets of the Liaison Committee before Thursday, May, 4th, 2017.

At 10:47 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
