Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee commenced its study of women human rights defenders.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Raising Her Voice: Confronting the Unique Challenges Facing Women Human Rights Defenders".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, the Committee resumed its study of threats to liberal democracy in Europe.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 9:33 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:38 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 10:38 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the report entitled "Renewing Canada's Role in International Support for Democratic Development ", dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12 points font, single spaced, justified and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, not later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk, and analysts explore the options of formally presenting the evidence heard in relation to the Committee's study of the human rights situation in Russia on Monday, June 10, 2019, to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

At 10:45 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
