Jennifer Stoddart, Tamir Israel and Suzanne Morin made statements and answered questions.
Pat Kelly moved, — That the Committee invite the President of the Treasury Board, the Honorable Scott Brison, to appear before it as soon as possible to discuss the recent decision to postpone his proposed reforms to the Access to Information Act.
The question was put on the motion and it was negatived, by a show of hands: YEAS: 3; NAYS: 6.
Questioning of the witnesses resumed.
At 5:14 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.
At 5:24 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
