Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vi) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of the Access to Information Act.

Suzanne Legault made a statement and, with Nancy Bélanger, answered questions.

At 10:26 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:33 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee invite the Department of National Defense as well as the Department of Citizenship and Immigration to appear on Tuesday, March 8, 2016.

It was agreed, — That the Committee invite Daniel Therrien, Privacy Commissioner of Canada, to appear on Thursday, March 10, 2016.

At 10:53 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
