Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of privacy of digital government services.

Marina Mandal and Della Shea made statements and, with Angelina Mason, answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Motion

Nathaniel Erskine-Smith moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Orders 108(3)(h)(vi) and (vii), the Committee invite senior representatives from YouTube Canada to explain their decision not to run ads during the upcoming election, their refusal to comply with Bill C-76 and any other issues relevant to this Committee.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.

At 4:53 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
