Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a briefing on resettlement issues related to Yazidi women and girls.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 11:29 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:32 a.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Road to Recovery: Resettlement Issues of Yazidi Women and Children in Canada".

It was agreed, — That the Committee append to its report any dissenting or supplementary opinions provided that they are no more than ten pages in length, in the same style and format as the report (Calibri, 12 point, left aligned); and they be submitted electronically in both official languages to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than Friday, March 23, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. (EST).

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and Analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $19,450.00, for the study of the Immigration and Refugee Board's appointment, training and complaint processes, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study on migration challenges and opportunities for Canada in the 21st century, the proposed budget in the amount of $162,685.37, for the Committee’s travel to Rome, Italy, Nairobi, Kenya, Kakuma, Kenya, Dadaab, Kenya and Kalobeyei, Kenya, in the Spring of 2018, be adopted, and that the Chair present this budget to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee.

It was agreed, — That senior officials from the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship be invited to appear before the Committee in relation to the study of the Supplementary Estimates (C), 2017-18 and Interim Estimates 2018-19 on Monday, March 19, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

At 12:15 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
