Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, March 1, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of migration challenges and opportunities for Canada in the 21st century.

Syed Hussan, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Dennis Kuijpers, by videoconference from Brandon, Manitoba, Edward McElhone and Llewellyn Opperman made statements and answered questions.

At 4:35 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:39 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Josée Bégin and Stephen Johnson made statements and, with Vincent Dale and Gilles Bérubé, answered questions.

At 5:36 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
