Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, September 26, 2018, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-369, An Act to amend the Bills of Exchange Act, the Interpretation Act and the Canada Labour Code (National Indigenous Peoples Day).

Ry Moran and Theresa Brown made statements and answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

On motion of Steven Blaney, it was agreed, — That, pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, October 24, 2018, the Committee consider the Supplementary Estimates (A) before the reporting deadline set out in Standing Order 81(5); and that the Committee invite the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism to appear in view of this study.

At 12:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:05 p.m., the sitting resumed.
