Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a briefing on Spring 2017 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada.

Michael Ferguson made a statement and, with Richard Domingue, answered questions.

At 12:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the non-tariff trade barriers to the sale of agricultural products in relation to Free Trade Agreements.

Dave Carey, Rebecca Lee and Ken Forth made statements and answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee append to its report on Debt in the Agricultural Sector and its effects any dissenting and/or supplementary opinions provided that they are no more than ten pages in length, in the same style and format as the report (Arial, 12 point, single space); and that they be submitted electronically in both official languages to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. (EDT).

At 12:56 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
