Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 9, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of barriers to transition and measurable outcomes of successful transition.

Sanela Dursun, Alla Skomorovsky, Sylvain Maurais, Faith McIntyre and Robert Cormier made statements and answered questions.

At 12:35 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:38 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of needs and issues specific to indigenous veterans, the proposed budget in the amount of $94,254.40 for the Committee’s travel to Greater Victoria Region, British Columbia, Calgary, Alberta, Beauval, Saskatchewan, Hamilton, Ontario, Six Nations Indian Reserve No. 40, Ontario, Toronto, Ontario, Millbrook First Nation, Nova Scotia, Indian Brook First Nation, Nova Scotia, and Halifax, Nova Scotia, in spring 2018, be adopted.

At 12:56 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
