The Chair (Mr. Lloyd St. Amand (Brant, Lib.)): Ladies and gentlemen, I will call this meeting to order. We have a quorum of seven.
I believe our first order of business is to deal with a clause-by-clause analysis of Bill C-54.
Pursuant to Standing Order 75(1), the consideration of clause 1 is postponed.
Looking at the other clauses, as no amendments are being submitted, I would suggest that we deal with clauses 2 through 64 severally or in a lump sum. Does any member have difficulty with that procedure?
If the wish or the will of the committee is to deal with all of those clauses at the same time, shall clauses 2 through 64 carry?
(Clauses 2 to 64 inclusive agreed to)
(Schedule 1 agreed to)
(Schedule 2 agreed to)
(Clause 1 agreed to)
The Chair: Shall the preamble carry?
Some hon. members: Agreed.
The Chair: Shall the title carry?
Some hon. members: Agreed.
The Chair: Shall the bill carry?
Some hon. members: Agreed.
The Chair: Shall the chair report the bill to the House?
Some hon. members: Agreed.

Ladies and gentlemen, as we will be proceeding in camera from this point on, I would request that individuals who are not required to politely take their leave.
