The Standing Committee on Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development met at 11:09 a.m. this day, in Room 701 La Promenade Building, the Chair, Nancy Karetak-Lindell, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Hon. Sue Barnes, André Bellavance, Bernard Cleary, Jeremy Harrison, Nancy Karetak-Lindell, Gary Lunn, Pat Martin, David Smith and Roger Valley.

 

Other Members present: Susan Kadis.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Mary Hurley, Analyst; Marlisa Tiedemann, Analyst.

 

Witnesses: As an Individual: Danalyn MacKinnon, Barrister, Solicitor, Beamish MacKinnon Law Office. Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study the on-reserve matrimonial real property.
 

Danalyn McKinnon made a presentation and answered questions

 

At 12:04 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:15 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Maureen McPhee and Paul Fauteux made presentations and, with the other witnesses answered questions.

 

At 12:58 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
