With regard to the core public administration reductions from the Comprehensive Expenditure Review: (a) how many letters of affected or at-risk status were sent to employees, broken down by those who work (i) in the National Capital Region, (ii) outside of the National Capital Region; (b) for letters sent to employees who work outside of the National Capital Region, what is the breakdown by province or territory and by municipality; and (c) what is the breakdown of (a) and (b) by department or agency?

With regard to the staff reductions at the Public Health Agency of Canada: for all documents, including scientific advice, briefing notes and available studies and briefs addressing the risks these cuts pose to the agency’s capacity to prevent and control epidemics, what are the details, including (i) the date, (ii) the sender, (iii) the type of document, (iv) the title of the document, (v) a summary of the message’s content?

With regard to the National Search and Rescue Secretariat: (a) how many and which positions have been cut at the secretariat in the past 12 months, overall and broken down by month, and of those positions, which were cut (i) as part of the Comprehensive Expenditure Review, (ii) outside of the review; (b) how many and which positions does the government plan on cutting in the future at the secretariat as part of the Comprehensive Expenditure Review; (c) what is the annual financial value of the planned spending reductions being implemented at the secretariat as part of the Comprehensive Expenditure Review; (d) have any cuts taken place in the past 12 months, or are any future cuts being planned, at the secretariat outside of those included in the Comprehensive Expenditure Review, and, if so, what are the details, including financial values associated with each cut; and (e) what is the breakdown of (a) and (b) by province or territory?

With regard to the claims by Algoma Steel that the government knew the company would lay off employees in Sault Ste. Marie before it agreed to provide $400 million in loan assistance: (a) on what date did the government first become aware that Algoma Steel's business plan included layoffs in Sault Ste. Marie; (b) on what date did the government agree to provide $400 million in loan assistance; and (c) did the government negotiate any job guarantees with Algoma Steel prior to providing the $400 million loan, and, if so, what are the details of any such guarantees?

With regard to the workforce reductions at the National Microbiology Laboratory: for all of the documentation relating to the risks that these cuts pose to the laboratory’s capacity to conduct its infectious disease surveillance, including the scientific advice, briefing notes, studies and memoranda available, what are their details, including (i) the date, (ii) the sender, (iii) the type of document, (iv) the title of the document, (v) a summary of the message’s content?

With regard to the government's announced Comprehensive Expenditure Review: (a) will Public Services and Procurement Canada be subject to workforce reductions; and (b) which departments or offices within Public Services and Procurement Canada will be exempt from workforce reductions?
