With regard to the cost of living allowance for Department of Fisheries and Oceans employees: what is the exact method used to calculate the cost of living allowance for Department of Fisheries and Oceans employees in remote areas, specifically the Sept-Îles region, as of January 2026?

With regard to the isolated post allowance granted to federal employees in the Sept-Îles region of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans: (a) is there an allowance being granted as of February 24, 2026, and, if not, was there an allowance previously that has been abolished; and (b) if the allowance has been abolished, what are the reasons and justifications for this abolition?
