Questions and responses 45th Parliament, 1st session May 26, 2025, to present

With regard to the Prime Minister's trip to India in February and March of 2026: (a) what was the total amount spent on hotel accommodations during the trip by the Canadian delegation, broken down by city the hotel was located in; (b) in each city, what was the number of hotel rooms booked, broken down by how many nights; and (c) in each city, what were the room rates paid, how many rooms were booked at each rate, and how many nights were stayed at each room rate?

With regard to the trip by the Prime Minister and other ministers to Japan, India and Australia, which concluded in March 2026, and broken down by minister, including the Prime Minister: (a) what was each minister's detailed itinerary on the trip; and (b) what are the details of all meetings attended by the Prime Minister or any other minister, including any "personal" or "off the record" meetings, where public policy or government business was discussed, including, for each such instance, the (i) names of the attendees, (ii) titles of the attendees, (iii) company or organization represented by each attendee, (iv) agenda items, (v) result of the meeting?

With regard to the call between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the India External Affairs Minister, in late May 2025: (a) what were the issues and topics discussed during the call and what progress or agreements, if any, were made in relation to each issue or topic; and (b) have there been any follow-up calls or meetings between the minister, her office, or other government officials and the Government of India, and, if so, what are the details of each such meetings?
