With regard to federal Crown land which has been sold or donated for the purpose of building housing since January 1, 2016: (a) what are the details of all such transactions, including, for each, the (i) date, (ii) size of the land involved, (iii) sale price, if applicable, (iv) entity the land was sold or transferred to, (v) location, (vi) number of houses or units expected to be built on the land, (vii) number of houses or units built on the land to date, if known; and (b) what was the total square area of land transferred in (a), broken down by year?

With regard to the Federal Land Initiative, broken down by year, by province or territory, and by type of end user (market housing developer, non-profit housing developer, municipality), between fiscal years 2017-18 and 2027-28: (a) how much funding has been allocated to the program; (b) how much funding has been committed; (c) how much funding has been transferred to the recipients; (d) how many units have been constructed or are expected to be constructed; and (e) how much has the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation spent, or is it projected to spend, administering the program?

With regard to surplus land owned by the government in census metropolitan areas: what are the details of all surplus land, including, for each piece of land, the (i) size, (ii) address, (iii) metropolitan area, (iv) description or type of land, (v) past use of land, if known, (vi) future planned use of land, if known?

With regard to federally owned lands in British Columbia: (a) what federally owned lands fall within the municipal boundaries of the (i) City of Terrace, (ii) the District of Kitimat, (iii) Town of Smithers, (iv) City of Prince Rupert; and (b) for each parcel in (a), what is the (i) size in hectares, (ii) current use?

With regard to the government’s public lands mapping tool, announced in August 2024: (a) what are the costs related to the tool, in total and broken down by type of expenditure; and (b) what are the details of all contracts over $1,000 signed by the government related to the tool, including, for each, the (i) value, (ii) date and duration, (iii) vendor, (iv) description of goods or services provided, (v) manner in which the contract was awarded (sole-sourced or competitive bid)?

With regard to the disposal of federal land for housing: (a) how many properties are currently in the disposal process; (b) how many properties have been declared surplus; (c) how many homes are expected to be built on these surplus properties; and (d) what is the breakdown of (a) through (c) by province or territory and by municipality?

With regard to the government’s claim that it will build 250,000 new homes by 2031 as part of the Public Lands for Homes Plan: (a) how many homes have been built on the land involved in this plan; (b) how many homes are currently under development on the land involved in this plan; and (c) when was the disposal process started for each property, broken down by location?

With regard to the Federal Lands Initiative, since the program launched in February 2019: how many homes (i) have been built, (ii) are currently under development?

With regard to land owned by the Department of National Defence or the Canadian Armed Forces which is currently not being used: what are the details of each location, including the (i) size of the land, (ii) geographic location, including the municipality or the proximity to the nearest municipality, (iii) future usage, if known?

With regard to the real estate arm of the Canada Lands Company (CLC): (a) how many residential housing units has CLC built since January 1, 2019, broken down by city; and (b) what are the details of the land owned by CLC, broken down by city, including the (i) zoning and number of acres in each zoned category, (ii) number of potential residential lots, (iii) number of acres in areas considered serviced versus unserviced?

With regard to the Canada Public Land Bank and properties with potential for constructing housing units: (a) for each property identified, on which traditional Indigenous territory is the property located; (b) has the government sought permission from the appropriate Indigenous government to build housing units on the land identified; (c) has the government offered the right of first refusal to the appropriate Indigenous government before beginning construction or offering the sale of the land or property; and (d) what compensation is the government offering to First Nations, Inuit or Métis communities for the sale or use of land on their traditional territory?
