With regard to Canada Pension Plan (CPP) payments: (a) has the government conducted any analysis into (i) how much it would cost to allow individuals who continue to pay into and don’t start collecting CPP payments until an age later than 65, such as 70, to defer those payments and receive larger payment when they do start collecting CPP payments, (ii) any proposal similar to that outlined in (a)(i); and (b) if the answer to (a)(i) or (a)(ii) is affirmative, what are the details, including the findings and projections associated with the analysis?

With regard to the Canada Pension Plan (CPP): (a) how many individuals living abroad are currently receiving CPP payments, in total and broken down by country; (b) how much was paid out to recipients living abroad during the last fiscal year, in total and broken down by country; (c) of the countries in (a), which ones have (i) signed, (ii) not signed, a treaty with Canada concerning cooperation which would notify the government when a CPP recipient dies and allow the government to recover any payments made to a deceased person as a result of the CPP not being aware of a recipient’s death; (d) last year, how much is estimated to have been wrongfully paid to CPP recipients following a death before the CPP became aware; and (e) of the overpayments in (d), how much (i) has been recovered, (ii) has not been recovered, but is expected to be recovered, (iii) is not expected to be recovered?

With regard to the Canada Pension Plan's (CPP) investments in Russian state owned enterprises, or enterprises with significant ties to Vladimir Putin or the Russian oligarchy: (a) what enterprises are currently owned by the CPP, and what is the value of each investment; (b) has the government directed or advised the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) to divest such holdings, and, if so, what are the details including the date of the direction or advice; and (c) does the CPPIB have plans to eliminate all such holdings from their investment portfolio, and, if so, when will these holdings be eliminated?
