With regard to government statistics on violence against women, broken down by year since 2015: (a) how many criminal acts of violence against women were reported, in total and broken down by province or territory, and by major metropolitan area; (b) of the acts of violence in (a), how many were homicides or deadly assaults; (c) how many individuals were charged in relation to the crimes in (a); (d) how many individuals were charged in relation to the crimes in (b); and (e) what is the breakdown of (c) and (d) if the number of individuals charged were (i) already wanted for other crimes, (ii) out on bail, (iii) on parole at the time of being charged?

With regard to kits provided to inmates under the Prison Needle Exchange Program: (a) what are the current contents in each kit; (b) what is the estimated cost of each kit; (c) how many kits have been distributed each year since 2019; (d) what is the breakdown of (c) by correctional institution; and (e) what were the total expenditures on the kits, broken down by year since 2019?

With regard to funding provided by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) to the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care: (a) how much money has the PHAC provided to the task force, broken down by year for each of the last five years; and (b) in the last fiscal year, what is the breakdown of how the task force spent its funding allotment by line item?

With regard to the cap imposed by the government on the percentage of for-profit spaces as part of its Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement with Ontario: (a) is the government going to accept the request from the province of Ontario to remove the cap, and, if not, why not; (b) if the answer to (a) is negative, how does the government justify removing the cap for certain other provinces, including New Brunswick; (c) what is the government's reaction to reports that the Peel Region had to turn down 2,000 child care spaces as a result of the cap; and (d) what is the government's estimate of the number of child care spaces throughout Ontario that have had to be turned down or otherwise not brought to fruition as a result of the cap?

With regard to the requirements outlined in the Early Learning and Child Care Agreements for provinces and territories to report certain statistics and results related to agreement participation to Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) by October 1 of each year: what are the details, including the statistics and results, of the information that was reported to ESDC for the time period covered by the filing with the October 1, 2023, deadline, broken down by province or territory?

With regard to statistics on child care spaces operating as part of the government’s Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) Agreements: (a) how many child care spaces in the program are priced at or below the $10 per day level, broken down by province or territory; (b) how many child care spaces in the program exceed the $10 per day level, but receive a subsidy to lower the daily fee, broken down by province or territory; and (c) how many child care spaces does the government estimate there are in each province or territory that are operating without ELCC subsidized daily fee reductions?

With regard to child care spaces available under the $10-a-day Early Learning and Child Care program: (a) what is the total number of spots currently part of the program; (b) what is the breakdown of (a) by province or territory; and (c) what is the breakdown of (a) and (b) by full-time spaces versus part-time spaces?

With regard to Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreements, broken down by province or territory and by year, since October 1, 2019: what was the (i) total number of early learning and child care spaces available during the fiscal year, broken down by age group of child and type of setting, (ii) number of net new spaces created during the fiscal year, broken down by age group of child and type of setting, (iii) total number of inclusive spaces created or converted, broken down by age group of child and type of setting, (iv) average daily parental out-of-pocket fee for regulated child care spaces at the end of each fiscal year, (v) number of children 0 to K receiving fee subsidies, broken down by families receiving partial and full subsidies, (vi) number or proportion of child care service providers who provide services that are adapted to the needs of children with disabilities and children needing enhanced or individual supports, (vii) number and percentage of staff working in regulated child care programs who fully met the province's certification and educational requirements, (viii) annual public expenditure on training and professional development of the early childhood workforce, (ix) indicator data related to the wages of the early childhood workforce according to the categories of certification, including any wage enhancements, top-ups or supplements?

With regard to the Canada Revenue Agency, broken down by tax year since 2019: (a) how many trusts and corporations assessed and paid capital gains and what was the total amount of capital gains collected from this group; (b) how many trusts and corporations assessed and paid taxes on capital gains (i) of less than $50,000, (ii) between $50,000 and $100,000, (iii) between $100,000 and $250,000, (iv) of more than $250,000; and (c) for each group in (b), what was the total amount collected in taxes on capital gains?

With regard to the Canada Dental Benefit (CDB): (a) what is the government's estimate of the number of dentists currently operating in Canada; (b) of the dentists in (a), how many have received payments for services provided under the CDB; and (c) what is the breakdown of (a) and (b) by province or territory?

With regard to the National Advisory Council on Early Learning and Child Care: (a) what conflicts of interest or potential conflicts of interest have been declared by each of the members of the council, broken down by member; and (b) are members of the council permitted to profit as a result of their membership on the council, including through consulting businesses or other enterprises owned by members of the council, and, if not, what are the measures in place to ensure that members do not act in their own self-interest?

With regard to the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care program: (a) how much does it cost the government to administer the program annually, in total and broken down by province or territory; and (b) how many employees or full-time equivalents are assigned to work related to the administration of the program, in total and broken down by province or territory whose program's administration the employee is assigned to?

With regard to statistics held by the government: what was the number of persons employed as child care workers in (i) 2022, (ii) 2023?

With regard to the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care system: what is the amount per child that the government provides to each province or territory for each child enrolled in the program?

With regard to the National Advisory Council on Early Learning and Child Care: (a) what amount of remuneration is each member of the council paid; (b) what is the total amount spent on travel and hospitality by members of the council since the council's membership was announced in November 2022; (c) what is the breakdown of (b) by each member of the council; (d) what are the limits, if any, on the amount of travel and hospitality expenses that can be claimed by members of the council; (e) what are the dates, locations, and names of attendees of each meeting the council has had; (f) what is the council's annual budget; and (g) how much has been spent by the council to date, broken down by item and type of expenditure?

With regard to expenditures on social media influencers, including any contracts which would use social media influencers as part of a public relations campaign, since January 1, 2021: (a) what are the details of all such expenditures, including the (i) vendor, (ii) amount, (iii) campaign description, (iv) date of the contract, (v) name or handle of the influencer; and (b) for each campaign that paid an influencer, was there a requirement to make public, as part of a disclaimer, the fact that the influencer was being paid by the government, and, if not, why not?

With regard to the government’s response to homelessness and tent cities: (a) what are the details of all programs currently in place to deal with homelessness and tent cities; (b) for each program in (a), how much funding is allocated in (i) the current fiscal year, (ii) each of the next five fiscal years; (c) which of the programs in (a) involve funding for addiction treatment and recovery; (d) how is the funding for each program tracked, monitored and audited; and (e) does the government have any quantifiable goals for reducing the number of homeless Canadians, and, if so, what are they, nationally and broken down by region?

With regard to expenditures by any department, agency, Crown corporation, or other government entity involving ONWARD or Maryam Monsef, since January 1, 2022: what are the details of all expenditures, including, for each, (i) the date, (ii) the amount, (iii) a description of the goods or services provided, (iv) whether the contract was sole-sourced or competitively bid?

With regard to government funding related to drug supply and treatment: (a) what was the total amount spent by the government on providing "safer supply" drugs in the 2022-23 fiscal year; (b) what is the breakdown of (a) by province or territory; (c) what was the total amount spent by the government on opioid agonist therapy in the 2022-23 fiscal year; and (d) what is the breakdown of (c) by province or territory?

With regard to the new passport design unveiled on May 10, 2023: (a) what is the detailed timeline of all actions (calls for proposals, designs reviewed, ministerial approval, etc.) associated with the development of the new passport from when the government first considered changing the passport; and (b) for each action in (a), who was responsible for overseeing that particular part of the process?
