With regard to the Zero Emission Transit Fund and other federal funding for municipal electric buses: (a) which municipalities have received funding for electric buses from the government; (b) how much funding did each of the municipalities in (a) receive, and for how many buses; (c) what assessments has the government done related to how much these buses are contributing to Canada's emissions reductions targets, and what were the results of each assessment; (d) how many instances is the government aware of where the electric buses had a shortened battery life, or were unable to run due to cold weather, and with which municipalities is the government aware of this occurring; and (e) has the government advised municipalities to maintain their current fleet of gas-powered buses in case of extreme cold weather which makes the electric buses not function properly, and if not, why not?
