Mr. Speaker, this Prime Minister is the first in Canadian history to be found guilty of violating the Conflict of Interest Act not once, but four times. He took $215,000 of taxpayer money to travel illegally with his family and friends to the Aga Khan's private island. These offences could constitute a violation of subsection 121(1) of the Criminal Code.
I have one simple question for the Prime Minister. How many times did he meet with the RCMP and the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner?
Monsieur le Président, nous avons devant nous le seul premier ministre de l’histoire du Canada à avoir été reconnu coupable d’avoir enfreint la Loi sur les conflits d’intérêts, non pas une seule fois, mais bien quatre fois. Il a pris 215 000 $ des contribuables pour voyager illégalement avec sa famille et ses amis sur l’île privée de l’Aga Khan. Ces infractions pourraient constituer une violation de l’article 121(1) du Code criminel.
Je demande au premier ministre de tout simplement répondre à la question suivante. Combien de fois a-t-il rencontré la GRC et la commissaire aux conflits d’intérêts et à l’éthique?
