Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled “An Act to enact the Consumer Privacy Protection Act and the Personal Information and Data Protection Tribunal Act and to make consequential and related amendments to other Acts”.
Mr. Bains (Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry), seconded by Ms. Bibeau (Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food), moved, — That the bill be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics.
