Thank you.
You mentioned earlier that your first contact with Mr. Brodhead came after the RFP process, but as you know, as you mentioned, he was the chief of staff to the Minister of Infrastructure, and I'd just like to ask whether you had any contact with Minister Sohi's office before the RFP process?

Google last year established a record in the amount of money it spent lobbying in Washington, D.C., of $21 million, I think. I understand that records show that you've registered 40 people to lobby the City of Toronto and provincial government, and eight, including yourself, to lobby the federal government.
To a lot of people, that would seem, compared with Facebook, which claimed they didn't have any lobbyists in Canada when they testified before us, to be a pretty heavy emphasis on lobbying.

It must happen on a fairly regular basis that companies come to the government seeking certain concessions and saying that there will be dire economic consequences and job losses if they don't get what they want. I'm wondering if you can speak any more to how the government assesses those kinds of claims or threats from companies.

There's a last question that I have for you. Out of all of the lobbying that happened on this, including, admittedly, with our party—SNC went in to talk to everybody, and I believe my colleagues as well were spoken to by SNC—I don't see your name on the list of those who were lobbied. Were there any requests made by the lobbyists at SNC to come in and visit you to talk about the issue of deferred prosecution agreements, given that you were the only one who could change the Criminal Code?

Okay. Thank you, Minister.
Let me refresh your memory, if I may. The meeting was indeed in May of 2017—May 30, 2017. According to the lobbyist registry, the topics included government procurement, industry and infrastructure. Do you recall who you met with?

Mr. Lametti, it was noted that one of the topics was government procurement. Of course, that directly concerns the issue at hand in terms of the prosecution of SNC-Lavalin and the impact that will have on its ability to bid on government contracts.
Let me put it to you simply. Did you discuss the fraud and bribery charges involving SNC-Lavalin with Mr. Bruce?
