By unanimous consent, it was ordered, — That, notwithstanding any Standing Order or usual practice of the House, when the House begins debate on the second reading motion of Bill C-38, An Act to amend the Canada National Parks Act to enlarge Nahanni National Park Reserve of Canada, a Member from each recognized party may speak for not more than ten minutes, after which the Bill shall be deemed to have been read a second time and referred to a Committee of the Whole, deemed considered in Committee of the Whole, deemed reported without amendment, deemed concurred in at report stage and deemed read a third time and passed.

Pursuant to Order made earlier today, on motion of Mr. Strahl (Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and Federal Interlocutor for Métis and Non-Status Indians), seconded by Mr. Nicholson (Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada), Bill C-39, An Act to amend the Judges Act, was introduced, read the first time and ordered to be printed.Recommendation(Pursuant to Standing Order 79(2))
Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled “An Act to amend the Judges Act”.
Pursuant to Order made earlier today, the Bill was deemed read the second time and referred to a Committee of the Whole, deemed considered in Committee of the Whole, deemed reported without amendment, deemed concurred in at report stage and deemed read the third time and passed.

By unanimous consent, it was ordered, — That, notwithstanding any Standing Order or usual practice of the House, the report stage motion to Bill C-6, An Act respecting the safety of consumer products, standing on the Notice Paper in the name of the Minister of Health, be amended by replacing the words "advise him or her", in the first paragraph, with the words "provide him or her with public advice"; that the motion be deemed adopted as amended; that Bill C-6 be deemed concurred in at report stage with a further amendment; and that the said Bill be ordered for consideration at third reading stage later this day.

Accordingly, Motion No. 1 was agreed to as follows:
Motion No. 1 — That Bill C-6 be amended by adding before line 22 on page 32 the following new clause:“63.1 (1) The Minister shall establish a committee to provide him or her with public advice on matters in connection with the administration of this Act, including the labelling of consumer products.(2) Committee members may be paid remuneration up to the amount that is fixed by the Governor in Council and are entitled to the reasonable travel and living expenses that they incur while performing their duties away from their ordinary place of residence.”

Recommendation(Pursuant to Standing Order 76.1(3))
Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the following amendment to Bill C-6, “An Act respecting the safety of consumer products”. That Bill C-6 be amended by adding before line 22 on page 32 the following new clause:
