A message was received informing the Commons that on December 15, 2009, at 6:35 p.m., the Honourable Louis LeBel, Puisne Judge of the Supreme Court of Canada, in his capacity as Deputy of the Governor General, signified Royal Assent by written declaration to the following Bills:
Bill C-51, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on January 27, 2009 and to implement other measures — Chapter No. 31;
Bill C-62, An Act to amend the Excise Tax Act — Chapter No. 32;
Bill C-56, An Act to amend the Employment Insurance Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts — Chapter No. 33;
Bill C-64, An Act for granting to Her Majesty certain sums of money for the federal public administration for the financial year ending March 31, 2010 (Appropriation Act No. 4, 2009-2010) — Chapter No. 34.
