The Speaker informed the House that, pursuant to Order made on Monday, December 7, 2009, the Standing Committee on Finance deposited with the Clerk of the House of Commons the Fifth Report of the Committee on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 10:03 p.m.
The Committee considered Bill C-62, An Act to amend the Excise Tax Act, and reported it without amendment.

The Speaker ruled on the result of the vote taken Tuesday, December 1, 2009, on the opposition motion standing in the name of the Member from Ottawa Centre and directed that Division No. 139 at page 1113 of the Journals be corrected.
Accordingly, the motion was agreed to by a vote of 145 yeas to 129 nays.
